What you should know about Modbury Community Child Care Centre

Day Care in Tea Tree Gully

Employees from Modbury Hospital had put in a bid for a Community Child Concern center to be built on the grounds of the hospital but it was decided that a center would be built on government ground nearby approval was given to unfold a center in Sept 1986. As the center was initiated by the Hospital it was believed that most of the Children would reach from parents who worked there and so the center had extended protection until midnight. The extended care ended in 1998 as numbers of children requiring evening protection dwindled. The decision to change was made by a majority of Community run centers and their Governing Councils to improve their bagging and also their potent belief that we educate children not just care for them. We have a powerful and dedicated educator and staff bottom with some of the Educators having been here for more than 20 years. There have been changes and upgrades to the building and grounds over the years but maximum of the changes we have seen have been with administration, legislation and curriculum.

The Modbury Community Children's center aims to produce quality concern for young children, which complements concern within the family and supports parents guardians, staff and the community. We have an ongoing commitment to professional development and supporting staff with further study. This compliments protection within the family and supports parents guardians, educators, staff and the community. We trust that children learn through play within a nurturing educational environment, which develops and extends their skills. Play enhances every aspect of children’s development and learning. We will create opportunities that encourage children’s learning, development and healthy being as outlined in the Premature Years Learning Framework (ELF). Educators Staff will respect the skills, abilities and knowledge of all children and ensure that all interactions, experiences and materials urge inclusion, equity and diversity. We trust families need to be supported and aim to do this by: We believe our children should be in the protection of Educators Staff who: We believe that Educators Staff have the: To labor in a sound and supportive environment. COMMUNITY We aim to make our center a portion of our larger community by taking an interest in other group’s activities and inviting them to share in ours. We aim to foster mutual support among the Governing Council, Educators, Staff and families. We are committed to professional and personal staff development as we trust it is fundamental to providing a lofty quality service. Many of our educators and staff have been at the center for more than 10 years. We will endeavor to create an environment where children will have opportunities to engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures in order to enhance their understanding. New fruit with Cheese and sundries tomato muffins. (chicken mince, tomato, capsicum, onion, spinach and cheese sauce layered with pasta). However all the Educators in the room are responsible to help look after your kid and are there to support both the Primary Caregiver and the child. We work in partnership with you to bear a warm, caring and stimulating environment for your child. From earlier beginning children are connected to family, community, culture and place. Their earliest development and learning takes place through these relationships, particularly within families, who are children's first and most influential educators. Play supports children's sense of belonging, being and becoming and supports a child's physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. The programmed goals derive from our centers philosophy, play based learning, the strengths, interests and needs of our children, families and community.
